Strato Maps

Strato Maps is a web application which allows users to visualize data on a map in their browser, and also to trigger custom data processing workflows which may produce new data for the map or for download.

The Strato Maps web application is hosted in the client's own Amazon Web Services account, and at the client's domain name. Maps may be public (viewable by anyone who visits the domain) or private (protected by authentication so that only signed-in users with the correct permissions may view and use maps).

Admin users with the correct permissions can configure and customize the map title, add or remove functionality from a given map (such as layer filters, map legend and more), upload or create new map layers, and assign permissions to control if and how specific users can access a map. Strato Maps also supports big data visualization.

For satellite imagery users, Strato Maps offers out-of-the-box integration with imagery providers such as the European Space Agency, SkyWatch and Planet, so that users can preview, import, visualize and share satellite imagery.
